Dedicated to the memory of Maurice Kettle

Maurice, was an ex-Naval Officer who fought during the World War 2.He loved the Sea but had many harrowing stories of Arctic Convoys etc. He was fortunate to survive but never forgot those friend and colleagues he lost.On leaving the Navy he worked in his practice in Harley Street, London and as a Consultant at King's College Hospital for many years, having previously trained and worked at Guy's Hospital. He was a very accomplished Clinician and won many accolades including the Newland Pedley gold medal at Guy's Hospital. He was nevertheless a very humble man who never boasted and always had time to talk to the least able as well as the most accomplished, and make everyone feel they were worth something. He was extremely kind and gracious, a gentleman in every sense of the word. He would be delighted to know that we have started this fund in memory of him.
